04 expedition cold start idle up and down

When I start my car after a few seconds it revs up and down a bit, the needle doesn’t move up and down but the engine revs up and down. What could be the cause of this? And what could be a quick fix.

Engine light on? my gen 2 had a vacuum leak around the intake. I seen egr replacement hose kits for it but repaired mine with a short piece of hose.

No sir no engine light, just a rapid up and down idle for about a minute or two then it goes away. I had an issue with a hose around the intake that I had to replace however it needs to be looked at again. You think it’s a vacuum issue ?
