My Expy has 235K and I just noticed this about a month ago. It's on the passenger front quarter panel next to the hood. At first I thought it was just a chip but one day it had spread like wildfire. The only thing I can think of is it could be battery acid as it was right after an oil change and my "sealed" battery is starting to look bad. I looked under the hood and didn't see anything other than outside, nothing under the hood. It's Estate Green Clearcoat and to date I haven't had any issues with the paint in 12 years. It has stopped migrating as of today.
