05 Expy Drivers side stuck on full cold

I have an 05 King Ranch with dual zone climate control. Just noticed that the drivers side temp control is not working. The passenger side works fine but regardless if it is set for chest only of feet only it blows cold. Also when on defrost the drivers side is cold while the passenger side is hot.

So I heard it is either the blend door motors or the controller. Where to go from here?

do you hear a clicking sound in the dash? if so then that is the blend door trying to switch to heat and that would be the defective part.
