07 EL have to rear quarter wheel arches rusted out

Hi all, new to Expeditions, Old F150 hand. My rear quarter wheel arches are rusted out and need replaced.
Has anyone ever repaired these? I'm wondering if the f150 wheel arch patches would work with some tinkering?

I'm going to do some wheel opening figuring and am considering using a set of front fenders and cutting off the arches and splicing them in.
