I bought 1/2" front coil spacer plates to raise the front end just a tad. Ive seen on the other leveling kits that are 1 1/2 to 2 1/2" that parts of the suspension has to come off to remove the coil to get spacers on. My question is since the spacer plate is only less than 1/4" thick, could I just undo the top bolts for the coil and use a coil compression tool to have the coil just come far enough out where I can slip the plate over the bolts and then un-compress the coil back up through the holes and rebolt? Ive never done suspension work so don't know if it would work or not? Anyone have any ideas?
