Would getting a 5 Star Tune now, at 150k+ be a good idea? Truck runs fine except for a Cat Code that keeps popping up that I need to address. Would be nice to get a little better performance and mileage out of the thing but clearly it hasnt bothered me in the 110K miles i've owned it so far...

What says the jury?

I would address what is causing your cat issue. I would not add a tune to a vehicles with any codes or issues. If it runs well otherwise I wouldn't hesitate on adding a tune one the issue is fixed.

Get the cat issue figured out. Cats don't die of old age, they get murdered. Something is causing the cat to die. Too lean, too rich, burning oil or coolant, etc.... could be something simple or more complex. If the motor is in good shape go for it but remember it has a fair bit of miles on it, how much do you want to beat on it??
