Just made a trip from northern Michigan to Nashville, TN. Took a trip to the local gravel pit to check my weights (16,360#)... had to quit piling it in as I was already over weight. Comfortably pulled @ 65mph and returned 7.4mpg. I’m impressed!

A wee bit overloaded?
Payload on my ‘16 is 1319 lbs, and 9200lb tow rating (with weight distributing).

5.4L Triton? Edited i see it's an 07, nice! You had it loaded up pretty good there lol. 7.4 MPG is great towing that thing. Payload is 1,749 lbs on my 07.

Yes, 2007 5.4. Prodigy P3 (sure miss my BrakeSmart that’s in my Grand Cherokee) Not sure how overloaded I was, I didn’t let the scale settle down completely as I pulled on. But I believe the truck itself is approximately 6,300# if you add on about 1,750 cargo, that gives the truck about 8,050# I believe the scale was showing 3,750 with the front wheels only and then bouncing between 8,200-8,400# once both axles were on. 8,050 + 9,200 would allow 17,250#. The trailer itself has a 10,800# gvw.
