2000 Eddie Bauer with Mach system questions.

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer Edition Expedition and have some questions about the factory sound system.
My vehicle has the Mach system with factory 6 disc CD changer.
I have not been really impressed with this system because it does not have any bass response at all even when you add bass at the head unit. Did this system come with a subwoofer? are there controls somewhere that need to be adjusted. I am not even sure what I should be looking for. I listen to mostly country music not rock or rap. I don't think there are any issues with the speakers they sound fine there just isn't any bass. I looked at the owners manual and unless I missed something I am at a loss as to what I need to be looking for.

There's a sub-woofer in the rear passenger side just inside the rear hatch. Sounds like the speaker or power booster is gone. I had the same problem on my'98 and found a blown speaker.

mine was the same way so I ripped out the Mach and replaced everything with aftermarket and much better
