Hey everyone!
I noticed a slight drop in coolent level but couldn't ever find where it was coming from. Nervously jumping to head gasket, i waited it out. It runs fantastic and aways has. Until it doesnt... lol.

Ended up with a failing alternator and in the journey of changing it, I pulled the foam insulation away out of sheer curiosity and founnnddd... a valley full of green, rusty coolent! Horayyy!!!

It gradually got worse and worse. I had replaced the pipe that goes from the water pump to tbe outlet on the back of the block. Still leaking. Replaced the o rings. Still leaking.
(O rings measure .500 id. 625 od) cleaned the outlet, nipple, whatever you want to call it.

Clean it and clean it and clean it some more. Come to find there's two pin holes on the outlet. (Dorman part # 626571)
Remove the intake, throttle body, fuel rail and all tbe other lines and sensors to have space.

It's pressed fit. And it will break trying to get it out.
Use a... 13mm 1/4 drive deep well socket to pound it out?

I'm not familiar with this fitting. Assuming it steel I would clean it up with some brake cleaner and either weld the pin holes or fill them with JB Weld and then grind it smooth.
