How do I remove the two knobs I can’t seem to figure out how to take the panel or trim off that surround them two knobs. So I can take the screws out to replace the bulbs in the back (Second Row) The little green light that is supposed to go on when the air is coming out of the ceiling is not lighting up so I want to replace the bulbs

Hmm, I can't find anything in AllData for removing the knobs on the Rear Integrated Control Panel. I've never tried and off hand have no idea.

Okay, so now that I have seen the panel that looks like mine, screen shot below, I have an idea. I'm gonna say that it either is secured from the back of the trim, from inside the console or it just snaps on like most of the trim. I think pulling the inside of the center console out will show you if there's nuts or screws that hold the trim on from the back. If not it must be just that it snaps on.

All that said, I'm not sure you're gonna be able to replace the lamps, see the back screen shot below.

It doesn't just pop off, the center console liner has to be disassembled to get at that. I've never looked into those but I would be willing to bet those are a surface mount led for the lights as opposed to a normal bulb.

I see the blue lightbulb holder in the middle but I don’t think that lightbulb is for the little green light that switches from floor to vent that’s the light I wanted to replace because one of the green lights doesn’t come on. The knobs light up though. I guess I shouldn’t really be concerned about the little green lights at least everything works except for those two little lights

If that's the only problem I'd personally leave it alone. It's a fair amount of disassembly for something more or less trivial. In the entire time we've owned both our trucks we've never had them on floor for the rear. The overall temp is much more controllable with the roof vents and each passenger can somewhat tailor the climate of their specific seat by adjusting the vents above.

The 2nd row roof vents are also nice if you have no passengers you can rotate them 180 degrees so the louvers face the driver seat and get extra heat or cooling if you want. I do this in the hottest days of summer. With remote start you always have an ice cold seat to hop into because it's getting blasted from in front and up above.

I agree 100% with Aspen, the lights just ain't worth it. We use the rear HVAC exactly the same way.

The amount of work to disassemble that center console makes me wonder if I wanna disassemble the console for sound deadening or just remove the seats and work around the console.

It's not that it's difficult to remove but it takes a decent amount of time and to replace a light that will make a near 0 impact it's more effort than I'd certainly want to invest.

In the pics we had disassembled it to more easily run wiring for the radio and such. I installed a knockout panel inside of it that has connections for HDMI, AUX, and a couple USB ports. It could have been without doing it but made wire management and access with a dremel easier to cut the slot into the housing of it.

I also some spare sound dampening material on the outsides of the black plastic so it's sandwiched between that and the tan outer shell. Now if anything bounces around inside the console it's pretty quiet. No more hollow plastic sound!

If I were sound deadening the floor I'd probably go to to the effort to remove it if seats are also being pulled and have that much more access to the area. You're doing significant work as it is, an extra 30min of effort will improve overall access.

I don't want to doubt you but just to be thorough, on my 2004 the two little green lights showing which way the air flow is going on the rear panel only light up when the front control is set to REAR. And likewise, the active flow of the two green lights on the panel in the front only light up if it is set to one of the fan speeds at the front.

Yeah, I think those are replaceable units only and heat sealed, no screws in control units.
