2007 EL Eddie Bauer rough idle

New user and first thread. I have a 07 El with 79,*** miles just replaced spark plugs and coil packs on all 8 cylinders. Truck runs extremely rough on start up and idle in park and when in drive at stop lights and stop signs. cant figure out where the roughness is coming from, it sounds like a delayed fire almost. replaced the right bank plugs after my aux heater hose exploded in my face and rough idle got worse. No CEL on and no codes on the reader. Seems odd that the computer wouldnt pick up something like this. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

welcome, it takes a long time to get the computer to register a misfire on a ford for some reason. check all your connections on the coils. did you put ford coils or aftermarket?

I checked and double checked all the connections to coils and fuel injectors wiring. I replaced the coils with Accel super coils.

update: got the truck back from the dealership, the found roller/rockers bad in the #8 cylinder which caused scoring on the cam. Replaced all under warranty truck runs like a dream now.
