2007 Expedition EL hot and cold

So today I was driving home and with the chill we got here in Dallas I had to turn on the heat. After a while of driving, Innoticed a cold spot in the air right above the shifter. Come to find out that on the passenger side, the a/c was blasting ice cubes while the driver side was melting my eyeballs. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it? And no, the dual climate control was not on. Greatly appreciate any help.

Sounds like an issue with the control door.

I've had the same problem, 07 EB, the drivers side vents will periodically blow hot air, while the passenger side is ice cold. Happens both in summer and winter , A/C on or off. Is there a diy fix?

Mine only did it that once. Here's to hoping it never happens again.
