Thanks for the help, everyone.
Another update; I had to run another errand yesterday so I jumped in, started up and the check engine light was off. My best guess is that my hard acceleration from a dead stop likely triggered something that caused the code. I'll be watching for the light to come on again but in the mean time, I see no need to fix something that ain't broke.
