Hello
I have a 2014 Limited. I'm replacing the driver's side rear CV axle. The new one I've purchased has a tin dust/debris shield on the end that goes to the differential. It won't allow me to slide the axle all the way in to the diff so that the axle seal will seal on the shaft. Is it normal to have to remove this shield so that the axle will install fully? Looks like it's simply pressed on and I could remove it with a flat screwdriver if I tried.
