2015 Expedition or F-150?

I bought my 2003 EB Expedition brand new and drove it off the lot... It now has 121,000 miles on her..... I was warned to never buy a first year of any Gen model vehical... I have no regrets.. This Expedition has been good to me and my family.. Never left me stranded... I did walk outta work yesterday to a flat but that does not count..!!

Here is my dilema..... Im due for a new truck... Im gonna buy a new truck...or SUV...I know the 2015 F-150 is a total redesign i see them all the time....
But now im starting to hear that the expedition is not a total redesign???
is this true???

All depends on your situation. If I won the lottery today and were to buy a vehicle, the F-150 would be it hands down. But I am a single college student who does not need the seats and prefers solid axle setups to IRS

Personally I think the new Expy's look like a large Ford Flex, but who knows how accurate, if at all the renderings are. I have heard that the new Expy will have the 5.0 so at that point it all comes down to the situation and preference you have.

Oh and I agree with you that the first model year business is a myth. My truck was one of the first Expeditions EVER and it is by far and away been the best vehicle in the family fleet.

waiting sucks..... well we know what the new f-150 looks like....
looks like long delays also... prolly couldnt get one until early 2015

I wouldn't worry about getting the first year model Expedition. It sounds like most of the truck is a refresh, and the new 5.0 has been proven in the F150 already.

I would hold off if they decide to bring in that new 10 spd transmission that's been rumoured. I'd like to see if that has any issues before I bought one.
