2016 expedition EL wrench icon appears then it starts sputtering and goes into limp mode. Any advice?

My wife just fueled up at Casey’s, pulled off and jumped on the highway, no sooner than half way up the ramp service engine light came on followed by the wrench icon then immediately went into limp mode

Possible bad molded lead frame on Transmission...see Ford recall on subject..my 2012 Expedition is getting the fix next week...see Customer Satification Program 19N01...might be different for 2016 tho
