I have a 2017 2wd limited, with the somewhat common rumble strip shudder symptom. Service procedure seems fairly straight forward. Any reason not to suck the fluid out of the dipstick hole with a vacuum extractor?

Also, after doing the filter/fluid change, if I do an additional partial fluid swap at some point in the future without dropping the pan, is there any reason I can't just suck out whatever I can with the transmission cold, then replace with the same volume, without having to go through the full shift/warmup sequence? If I did this I would park/level the vehicle and let it sit overnight, and suck out cold fluid and replace with cold fluid. Goal being to swap the initial 7qts or so, run it a while to mix everything else, then do as much more as I can to further dilute the old fluid with fresh.

I already have an air powered vacuum extractor and pressurized filler, making measuring volume in/volume out very straight forward.
