When you say OTD, do you mean with sales tax, etc. all added in? I am assuming you are paying somewhere around $3K in taxes - less if you have a good trade-in. Sounds decent. You should be seeing $10K or more off sticker plus tax. Good luck!

I dunno.....last Nov I got a '17 Lmtd 4WD with I think everything 'cept rear dvd's & computer suspension....for 54.9K or 54.7...out the door incl MD 6% tax. I would think that you are getting there but aren't at the party yet, especially with the '18's coming in 3 short months!

I would rather tell you now then see you make a deal that you COULD have done better with!

Here's another consideration: are you looking for the BEST deal or a GOOD deal with the options you want? You are buying off the lot toward the end of the model year. If you wait for the BEST deal, the Expy with the options you want may be gone. I bought mine at the end of June because only one STL dealer consistently bought short WB Expys with the 3.73 rear end. I don't like red, but it had the highest discount and the options I wanted. The dealer I bought from still hasn't had another Red Limited (if anybody else wanted one), so I believe if the deal is GOOD ENOUGH, then pull the trigger to get what you want.

Cullinan18 - Excellent point about inventory. I have to think most dealers have their last '17s on the lot. It will be harder and harder to find the color/option package you may desire.

My dealer told me on Thursday that the 18 are starting to show up in the system. None on the lot yet but I guess they are showing on the computers. My dealer doesn't have any 17 Expeditions on the lot right now, not even at the their north location.

I've been shopping a LOT lately and I think you can do even better. We have higher prices here on the Left Coast and I've seen new '17 EL Limiteds advertised in AutoTrader for $51K and $52K. Compared to our prices, cars in Michigan should be even cheaper.

Mine was $63k sticker. After all the rebates and what not and after TTL it ended up being $53k OTD. That was almost a year ago.

I think you can do better

Probably wait until its officially "last years model" if you want a sizeable discount?
