2017 Expedition Limited Driver side rear view mirror clicks

Using the memory functions located on the driver seat. When we select memory 1, the driver side mirror over travels and begins to click 3-4 times. We then have to manually reset that mirror to use properly. Anyone have this issue and know how to correct. Can you reset the memory or the position of the mirror to perform properly?

Brought my to the dealer when under warranty and they could not figure anything out. Only happens when pushing the memory button when changing drivers. The work around we have been doing is to push the fold in mirror button which stops the clicking, then fold back out again and then push the desired memory button.
