I'm looking to upgrade the FX4 wheels to 20's and run a beefier tire than stock. I don't plan on doing any extreme offroading. Looking at the Fuel Rebel 20x9's currently. Ideally, tires would come out just passed the fender well and have no rubbing. I don't plan on doing a 3/2 lift (needs to fit in my short garage) Some of these topics may have been covered in past threads, but the questions is still have are:

  • What offset wheel should I get? Fuel has +20 and +1 as options.
  • Whats the max tire size I could run without the lift? 33's? 285/65R20s (33/11R20) would be great.
Appreciate any advice!

I have 20x8.5 with +30 offset....and fender gets already dirty outside, despite that the wheels don't hang out. Just almost flush...personally I would not go with +1

For tires: I have 275/60 and I think its pretty good. Lots of space still...

When it comes time I’ll prob do fuel assault 20x9 +20 with 275/60/20 so I want to see what you do

Would love to see before/after pics of what you end up doing.
I just bought a 3/2 lift, but as you said... if I install it, getting into the garage would be a challenge. I plan on keeping the 18's but may go to a 295/70 when the time comes for new rubber with the lift or a 305/60 without the lift. (I had 305/60's on my Tundra and loved the look)

Exped v2.JPG Thanks. I'm getting in contact with a Fuel Wheels rep today that should help clear things up. I'll do some before and after pics and post them. Attached is the rendering that I'm basing everything off of.

Wow! Someone stole my idea! I’m looking at the same tires and everything. Deciding between those and Nitto Terra Grapplers. I’m getting the flat black fuel rebels, +20 offset, and 285/55R20s that will hopefully fit with no rubbing.

I literally just put them on last week, drove 1000 miles round trip towing my snowmobile trailer and very happy. I had nitto ridge grapplers on my ram and they rode like a brick.
