Can anyone help me understand whats going on with this:

2 days ago my rear window washer spray went from a nice stream to a trickle. I looked around and found a tube broken between the hatch and the rear main body, which connect down to a Y-connector behind the trim panel on the main body.
Why is there 3 lines to this Y connector? I assume 1 line in and 2 out.
Even though the one perforated line is completely broken off, I still get a trickle from the rear window nozzle!!!!

I'm planning on just doing a quick fix for now until it gets a little warmer outside, since I do not have anything leaking inside.

Thank for any insight.

I believe one line goes to a little water spritzer located on the rear camera housing. I have one on my 2019 FX4 but don't know if it is a package or standard on the gen 4 Expys.
I think it activates when you hit the rear wiper spritzer but not sure as I havent had the truck in reverse when using the wiper washer. Have to try tomorrow while in reverse to activate the rear camera while hitting the spritzer to see if water hits the camera lens.
But, there is a spritzer nozzle there on the housing.

"But, there is a spritzer nozzle there on the housing."

I had to go out and check, and I do have a nozzle for the rear camera.
Had the car since new and had absolutely no idea that I had this feature. :)

I have no idea why people mess with the rear window washer / wiper. I have turned mine on a few times by mistake. Always takes me a few minutes to figure out how to turn off. I know how to use my side mirrors.

I have a 2019 Expy Platinum. I live in Minnesota, so in the winter a lot of snow and slush accumulates on the rear window and camera. I back into my garage so the rear camera is very useful, when it is not dirty. I simply hit the rear washer and the camera clears up...very cool! I use it all the time. When you hit the rear washer 3 things happen: washer fluid streams onto the window, fluid streams onto the camera lens, and the rear wiper sweeps a few times and stops by itself.

Funny but I recently discovered the camera sprays when the rear window sprays....knew about the camera nozzle but just found out it operates with the rear window.
Now....you would have thought Ford would put a matching itty bitty teeny weeny wiper on the camera lens.....but noooooo...they had to cut corners !!!!!
