2020 King Ranch

Config is up for the 2020 KR on Fords site and it appears its only avail with captains for the second row. Also doesnt have the upgraded engine like in the Plati. Anyone see anything that would say otherwise?

It looks like Ford finally made 4x4 Low Range a stand alone option vs needing HD tow or FX4. You’d think it’s more cost effective to just keep it standard like before.

You know what I like it. The subtle two tone is nice too. The only thing that perplexes me is the massaging seats, the King Ranch gets them for the F-150 but not the Expedition that’s weird. Not needed and the KR is still very sharp! We never want to lose options, before my Eddie Bauer I didn’t know a thing of cooled seats. The thought of hot summer leather gives me nightmares now. Couldn’t imagine if I had massaging seats.

The multi contour seats where a deal breaker for my wife. Otherwise I would have saved a little and picked up a limited. I never use them. Crazy the King Ranch is missing that and the 400hp Eco. It’s still early.

I wish Ford would offer touch up paint for the accent colored parts like the bronze accents on the King Ranch. They don't even offer the silver color that's the accent color on the normal Expeditions. Are they that naive to think that rocks discriminate by paint color?

I don’t care for the bashing on the seats either. I’ve seen people talking about the superior leather in this trim but I’ve never seen it in person. I e never been a fan of two tone pant schemes either but thankfully this year model doesn’t appear to have that.
