2021 max sunroof problem

Hello,

I did do a search but was unable to find the answer for this gen. I have a 2021 max with the panoramic sunroof. Today I noticed that it would not
Pop up for vent mode. I successfully went through the process to relearn the sunroof and it did not fix the issue. It does slide back and open correctly. During the relearn process it started to go forward into vent position but seems to stutter and not fully open into vent. When you ouch the vent button nothing happens at all. The shade won’t even open. Any ideas?

Inspect the track for broken pieces of plastic. If you find any, the guide rails will need to be replaced. It's not that hard to do yourself.

I’ve got a 2024. I opened it and it wouldn’t close properly. Dealer said it was a software issue.

If you have the sunroof that doesn't close all the way- As it closes when it gets to the almost closed position, push up on the back of the sunroof and shove it into place. This is for emergency purposes, like raining.

So for an update when you run the relearn cycle it does go
Into the vent position, I inspected and did not see anything broken or loose. I am gonna try a switch console and see if the switch is just bad

Do you have an update? I just bought a 2018 that’s doing the same thing
