Thank you sir. I did call Ford back about my case, and they said my software is out of date. Not sure why the previous guy didn't notice that when I opened the case. I'm at build 23186 and they said I should be at 24127. I guess the dealer didn't check either, so hopefully that will fix both the hvac and XM not working.

This still isn't fixed, and the satellite radio still isn't working (stuck on XM loading, never goes to Ch 0 or 1). It's been at the dealership since Dec 11 and Ford engineering got involved about 3 weeks ago. I know they have replaced the antenna and APIM, unsure what else. We stopped by there on Saturday, and the tech had the Ford engineer logged into the vehicle remotely, the service manager said that was a new tool to get real-time vehicle data and troubleshoot. At least we got a decent loaner, a new F150. But this is nuts.

After 73 days and about 6 weeks of intermittent support form Ford engineering, they finally figured out that the issue was a corrupted file in a previous OTA done either by the previous dealership or owner. But it's great to have XM and rear HVAC control again.I was actually able to email the board board members and CEO, got a call back from their executive assistant Felicia the next day, and magically the issue was fixed 2 days later. It's amazing what can happen when you find your way around the gatekeeper to the decision makers. There was a new scratch around the HVAC trim, but there was no issue getting another one ordered.

Interesting they found a corrupted file was causing the issue. I would think the new APIM would have fixed the issue, unless it came with the corrupted file.

Yeah man, not sure. I tried my hardest to actually get some dialogue with the engineer working on it, but was told by multiple folks that they aren't "customer facing". Makes sense I guess, just wanted to get some details on the process.
