2024 Limited Max Stealth edition brakes

Does the stealth performance package add a larger diameter brake rotor/pads or is the caliper just painted red?

Also, Can you run 17” wheels on it for winter use or is 18” the smallest that will clear?

Hmmm...There was a very similar question posted in one of the Expedition groups on Facebook yesterday.

Rotors and calipers are the same across all Expeditions. The Stealth Performance Package gets the same calipers as other Expeditions, just painted red.

Hummm.....my neighbor bought a '24 Stealth last year, and he ordered it with black calipers to go along with it's black rims and blacked out trim everywhere else (absolutely ZERO chrome/steel etc)....

And he recently replaced his OEM rotors with high-end black ones that are drilled & slotted, so now it's TRULY a "Stealth" model for sure.. He calls it his Batmobile

The cool thing is that, at night, you can't even see it sitting in his driveway unless it's running or his motion-sensor security lights come on....

I don't know how someone would have done that since there was no option on Limiteds for black calipers.

I don't know either, unless the dealer had a deal going with some local brake or parts shop & they swapped them out right after it arrived on the lot but before he took delivery ??

This is correct. If the brakes would be bigger, you couldn’t fit any 18” rims on the SPP. To me they are just painted red. That’s it. My GT500 has Bear 6 piston brakes and these are bigger in every way compared to the Expy SPP.

Some dealers sold a “covert edition “ which never existed. So I am guessing somebody painted the calipers black before delivery.
