2026 Expedition rear window question

Does the rear window on the 2026 lift up as previous models since 1996?

The 5th generation Expeditions (starting with 2025 model year) got a redesigned hatch opening that has a two-piece "clamshell" design. The upper two thirds and lower third open independently. The glass in the upper two thirds does not open separately from the hatch.

No, I can verify it does Not open, unlike my previous 15 Expeditions.

I bought my '03 in '06. It was 17 years before I realized the glass could open separately. : )
