2nd row seat swap??

Hi - this is another pre-purchase question. As I am continuing to look for a good deal on an Expedition. One of my requirements is that it be an 8 passenger (or bench second row). I'm seeing a number of used Expeditions with the captains chairs that are pretty good prices. So my question is - Does anyone know if I can swap out the second row captain chairs for second row bench seats?

I've seen in the older Expy forums that this can be done but can it also be done easily on the 4th gen? Thanks.

Here in California I’m mostly seeing the opposite, lots of 2nd row benches.

What I am seeing here is XLT's are benches and most limited and platinums are captains chairs. I went with an xlt and have the bench which was one of the things that I preferred.

tons of the 18's were benches. I looked hard to find my 18 with rear captains. The bench was standard equipment in the 18 limiteds.
