I have a plan for my 2wd expedition, and I am not the type of person to be limited to what people say I should and shouldn't be able to do. I want to lift my truck the way I want to and I KNOW there are those out there that agree and have the done the same. I am not simple minded enough to think that NO ONE has been able to figure out how to do things the same way I do.

I am looking for some help or a point in the right direction to see if I can find a front cross member for my 99 expedition 2wd. This way I can lower my lower control arms and open up the ability to add a bit more lift with the stock suspension aside from what I will be upgrading. As far as I have seen, no one makes a lift kit for my truck, or if they did, they dont anymore. I don't need the whole lift, I just want to find a custom front crossmember to add to what I have. If there is anyone out there that may have one or know where I can get one, I would really appreciate the help. Thank you and sorry for the book I just wrote lol.:favorites13:

Don't quote me on it, but I believe the member Southernexpy38's ran a giant lift with his 2wd truck. I believe he converted it to 4wd after lifting it, but it would be worth PM'ing him and seeing what he did.

I have a 01 2wd that I want to lift. I have spoken with Fabtech and they told me all the parts for like year F150s would fit the front of the truck (of course the rear is a different story) , so I have been checking Craigslist for a used kit. Fabtech does not make the arms anymore for our trucks. I did find one kit that had a drop crossmember included in it. This kit was 6" with drop crossmember , coils and spindles. Hope that helps.
