this may seem like a light weight question....but it drives me crazy.
i drive an expedition because i'm a big guy - @ 6'8'' there are few vehicles i truly fit into - my 98 xlt is tight for me - but works, just.
here's my question - the third row seat - how had for intended for people to actually get into it ?
fold the second row seat to permit access ? is that the logic -
sorry if it seems obvious - it isnt to me

that is how I always understood the process to work. Fold down one part of the second row seat and allow people to crawl up to the 3rd row.

what my friends (they are really tall like you and I) do is they fold down the entire second row seat and seat in the third row seat. That way they can stretch out their legs and recline back during the trip.

in my third gen you fold the seat back down, and then tumble the whole seat towards the front. idk if its the same in yours or not.

I am also tall(6'10") and I love the way my expy fits me. My second row folds the back down first then rolls forward to allow almost enough room for an adult to walk through. Side note, my kids love it back there. If I'm working on the truck they are jumping back and forth.
