#5 fuse keeps blowing!!

My number 5 fuse under the dash keeps blowing. It might take a week or 2 in day. I took a 300 mile trip using the a/c and cruise and it worked great but 3 days later it blew 2 in a matter of minutes.

Where do I start?

I've got a meter. I don't have access to any wiring diagrams.

look at page 013-012 for fuse #5

This is out of a 97 Expy book, check your owners manual for what that fuse controls. These should also help get you started in tracking the problem.

Fuse #5 - 15 amp - inside cabin fuse box, below and left of steering wheel

Controls:
1) Air condition (A/C) clutch,
2) Hybrid fan relay
3) Backup lamps
4) Speed control
5) DRL
6) Instrument panel blend door actuator
7) Electronic variable orifice (EVO) steering module

you can get a service repair manual (dvd) with schematics on elay pretty cheap, truly pays for itself.
