for those of you how prefer to keep your grocery getters stock and sluggish, here’s a little motivation to do some performance work to it

650hp to the crank 2WD 2019 expedition

Stock turbos and manifold
Stock exhaust

Upgrades:
CAC kit
HPFP
CAI
E50 tune
Catted downpipes

Smoked a stock GT 5.0

I'm going to do a tune in next few months, but let the rest of the underwood hardware appear stock for a little while, so the warranty killers at the dealer don't start pointing fingers. Then at 36,001 it'll get it all! :)

I've got the cold air kit in the 93 octane tune and I can tell you it's light-years different than a stock expedition and it just blows away the navigator and the Cadillac Escalade.

Hate to break it but their software can tell the computer was tuned with like two button clicks.

Same here on my 16. Going to add a new IC and pipes this year and try an e30 tune maybe

I'm seriously thinking about the intercooler in the downpipes but I don't want to get into screwing around with mixing my own fuel that's too much like my old drag racing days.I would be curious to see what kind of power it makes with those modifications with just the 93 octane fuel

All the IC is gonna do is give you cooler air. I think it’s <15 hp. Intake temps are drastically reduced though. If you live in a super hot climate it’s a no brainer. Kind of expensive though for a really good one

5 star told me if you tune and untune before taking it in, they can't tell if you pulled the battery, or if it was tuned. Thats what they told me.....

Nobody is gonna pull a battery the day before taking it in. They know that. You show up with one key cycle on the log it’s obvious. Nobody DCs a battery just to DC a battery. They can actually take your ecu and send it to ford And they can bring up everything that computer has ever had done to it. Just be careful and be nice to the service ppl. That’s all I do. And dont advertise your performance upgrades all over the truck. Also no matter what you take it in for, inspection, oil, warranty, etc ALWAYS RETURN TO STOCK.

Tht could have a random update they click a button for and it hangs it ecu strategy. If tune is still on it as I’m sure you know, you’re f****d

E50 5 star tune produced over 550 wheel hp & nearly 700 lb ft wheel torque in 2018 completely stock (except for tune) f150 3.5L ECOBOOST
Have E30 installed in my 2018 EXPY & F150
Using E51 which costs $2.499 here while 91 octane E10 runs $3.699
Mileage about 15% lower with the E51 so cost per mile is less with E51
Flat fly
Lovin it:burnout:
