I have a 98 eddie bauer expedition, and the front bumper is trashed. I want to put a lightning bumper cover on, but a 99-02 bumper behind it to support it (because I've read you have to do that.)
So my question is, does someone either have a link to a thread with all the parts I'll need and a place to get them from? I found the 99-02 bumper for only 80 shipped on ebay (aftermarket, but who cares as long as it fits, it'll be behind the lightning bumper).
I need all the mounting hardware, etc I'd have to buy.
Any help would be appreciated. I did a search numerous times and couldn't find sufficient information for my application. Maybe I'll do a write-up on this when I do it so people can have the help they need in the future.
