I have a 2001 Ford Expedition, 5.4L and was having a problem with the a/c. Replaced the compressor, drier & orifice for the front unit - recharged, drove vehicle and at idle it just wouldnt get cold and going down the road it was cool but not cold. did a/c flush, still the same. replaced the compressor & orifice again, at this point the orifice was covered with shavings. Now the a/c pressures are reading High side: 150 Low Side: 75 I was thinking mabye it was the a/c line with the filter in it ( not the drier, but another filter) but this part is 183.00 and I dont want to have to put that on and it not fix anything. Could anyone tell me if they have had a similar problem, if so what finally resolved it. If i left something out please feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks. (THIS GA HEAT & HUMIDITY IS GETTING TOO HOT W/O A/C)
