A serious & strange problem!! Cruise Control of the 2013 Ford Expedition

Hi Ders

i have problem the Cruise control self-engages and accelerates. Tapping break or press the off switch will deactivate, but cruise will continually self-engage.

Is there anyone who has had a similar problem? Please advise me

No TSB on this issue found.

2013 Expedition Workshop Manual cruise diagnostics and testing, and wiring diagrams are attached.

Possible sticking cruise-engagement steering wheel switch, though other possibilities may exist.

I have visited many car technicians in my country,I disconnected the steering wheel buttons and also replaced the steering wheel bracket but to no avail
However, I found the problem on more than one American website and YouTube as well, but no one mentioned the cause of the problem (kindly find the youtube link, 100% same my problem)

might be the buttons on steering wheel, they just pop out

really easy and inexpensive to replace
