Abs light just came on?

Usually low brake fluid is indicated by a red brake light on the dash. Doesn't hurt to check, but the ABS light only signals a problem with the ABS system itself.

The reason I suggested checking, is my fluid level got a "little" low in my 03 and the abs light came on, no other indications. Filled it back up to the normal level and abs ligh went out after a couple uses and no abs problems since (couple years now). Checking and filling if needed is a cheap fix if it is what is wrong.

Of course it could have been coincidence, not a expert here.
