Adding Side Mirror Signals

Hello everyone,

I searched for a couple hours to no avail. I bought power fold/turn signal mirrors from a 2014 expedition to add to my 2012 XL. The plugs were the same for the wire harness and they clipped in perfect. However, the turn signals on the mirrors do not work. The power adjust works fine, heated works as well.

Anyone know how to get the mirror turn signals to work? Is this a forscan requirement?

If not forscan, how do I check to see if it's pre-wired for turn signals? The plugs are the same so I'm assuming the wiring is already there.

Most XLTs have a simplified harness that may not complete wiring to the mirrors, even if the plugs are similar.
