Fizzy, I think you are correct about the whole assembly being aftermarket because the 4x5 led bank for the blinkers is unremovable, and looking up the standard rear light assembly shows it with replaceable bulbs. Interestingly enough, the leds use the same plug so I can disconnect them, plug a #3157 micro bulb in using the same socket and I have a working blinker, though only half as bright...but it's cheaper than replacing the whole assembly!
