i'm running cryo treated power slow rotors on my excursion. i'll be adding some to the expedition soon. absolutely love them!

i towed our boat while running 35's on our old expy with no problems running drilled/slotted with ceramics

What was their reasoning (not trying to discredit you, I am just curious)? I tow with my truck and ceramics in front, and would definitely get these pads again.


I called them because their website wouldn't pull up the ceramics I'd initially planned to buy. As soon as I specify towing in the guide menu, they go away as a selection. The sales guy said they (and the manufacturers) don't recommend ceramics for towing applications & that the Hawk LTS will perform better. He was credible so I bought his suggestion. We'll see....

No doubt, any of the higher quality replacement pads, whether semi-metallic or ceramic, should be a significant improvement over the stock junk.
