Aftermarket Sunroof

Anyone ever put in an aftermarket sunroof? I know the over head console would need to be removed, just curious. Not the cheap pop up a full power one.

i have thought about this... the only thing i could find was the pop up style from the 70's F series that were on each side of the console...

but the 99 and newer had it as an option.. so maybe we could change our orver head console to get one to fit

i have one in my 03 it was put in by previous owner. i still have the rear air controls up top. i think i put a pic on here some where but i can take another pic if you want to see. i know its a different gen but it might help.

I was gonna put one in my old f150... but don't know about my expy.. i like the overhead console

here are some pics of my aftermarket sunroof. Kinda glad it is had it fixed (wasn't seating flush and was leaking) cost me $40 instead of $200+.

Before my parents bought their 08 F150 from my uncle, they were talking with the Ford dealership looking for one with a sunroof. The guy at Ford told them they could put a sunroof on anything for $1000. I'm not sure what it all consists of or even what one is worth, but for all the wiring and work involved (if you don't do it yourself), that doesn't sound too bad to me.
