air bag light

My 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer has a problem with the odometer going out
at times and my air bag light doing the same. Does anyone have a fix??

Most likely the problem with the odometer light is a bad solder joint its a common problem also an easy fix but time consuming (about 1-1.5 hours) as the instrument panel must be pulled. You can check on you tube and see a video on how to fix the bad solder joint. As for the air bag light I haven't heard about any problems with the circuit Could be just a bad light bulb If you pull the panel change the air bag light at the same time

As far as the airbag goes do you hear any kind of noise coming from the steering column. Kinda like it needs lubed? May be a clock spring for the light
