air ride driving me nuts

my father bought a 2000 expedition and is dead set on keeping this damn air ride so if your only solution is convert it (which is what i want to do) dont bother! so heres the scoop he bought it the compressor died 3 weeks ago he kept driving it i got a new pump from arnolt put it in and it does not come on. if you jump the relay it kicks on but does not air up the rear end please help i hate this thing if he had full coverage i'd burn it!

Do you have the air suspension switch active? If so, turn it off, support the rear of the vehicle, remove the air line's to both rear bag's, clean them and re-install. If that does not work, clean the rear bi-directional valve electrical connection, then very gently tap the valve with hammer. The valve is located on the frame rail under the drivers door, it's white and about the size of an old film canister.
