Has this happened to anyone else? We had a major rainstorm last Saturday night and since then my XP has been jacked up. When I look underneath the rear bags are totally full and the truck is bouncy as hell! There is no compressor sound at start up, but when I shut the truck off and get out I can hear the clicking noise from the rear(which I thought had to do with the air suspension) but the truck stays up, no release of air. Does anyone know how to fix this? Stealership wants $125 just to pull it into the garage. It's a 99 EB with 130k on it. Bought it @ 125k and have loved it until now. Wish I knew it was full air, I've already got a slammed 98 MarkVIII LSC sitting in my driveway waiting for a set of coil springs. I am hoping this is nothing major! Please help!

Is this a movable part? Is there any way to "unstick" it? Or is it all electronic? I tried unplugging the battery for approx 20 - 30 mins to let the comp reset, and no change. I failed to mention in my original post that with the major rain there were huge puddles, and I hit one that felt like I was crossing a lake. Sice then - full bags.

it's locked under the expo it has a movable arm on it it might be stuck the the lower position so it thinks the truck is sitting to low. you have to go under there and look. should be a small box with 2 air lines going to it and ele. connector and a arm connected to a rod.

sounds like when you hit the puddle something may have slide the bottom mount of the height sensor up. climb under the drivers side rear behind the tire. look up it is mounted from teh axle to the frame. it looks like a small shock with a dust boot. where is the bottom mount? it is adjustable in the mount, loosen the mall mount and slide it up or down. there are no arms or hoses just 3 wires coming in at the top

is the front up as well?

there is also a non adjustable sensor inside the drivers side wheel well.

I have a similar problem on my 04 the only difference is that mine won't go up. It was working fine and all of a sudden when I went to drive it one morning I noticed it was sitting low and the bags where all empty. I just got in my struts from strut masters. I am getting rid of that air ride it's more of a pain in the ass. I have already replaced to bags and they are very expensive. Just something to consider. I have a POC with them and they gave me a good deal. I can send you pictures of the expedition now it's all taken apart we are replacing all four in my garage.

I've got the same problem, you will get nothing. It seem's that you and I are the only people to have this problem. Good luck!

thats because not many people on here have the air ride system... most common solution is rip it out and install the coil over conversion and eliminate the problems associated with the air ride
