My 2011 Expedition Limited has the dealer stumped. The rear tires are off-center (the driver side wheel is almost two inches inside the top of the fender and the passenger side is flush with the fender). I noticed it because the tires we wearing unevenly. They said it needed an alignment which made sense, but it did not resolve the problem. The way it looks from behind, the tires will continue to wear unevenly unless I rotated them quite frequently. Then they told me they cannot adjust side to side and blamed it on an accident which I never had. The work they did brings the truck "within factory specs", but I am not satisfied. Any ideas out there?

Well if your the only owner and it has a clean carfax I can't see why the dealer won't work on it or look into it more. I mean if it's within factory specs there's not much they're gonna do. Has it had this problem after the dealer fixed it

I just had it "fixed" last week, but the gap is still there. The only specs they could produce were the ones related to alignment. They could not tell me that gap is within factory specs. Ironically, as I started writing this, the dealer called and told me that they want to try camber shims. I'll cross my fingers.
