AMP install

can a amp be installed to the factory radio.my stereo says premium on the speaker cover.if that means anything.ordered 4 6.5" speakers should be here this later this week.think amp should spice things up. :rockband:

registration is free and they have lots of "how to" articles. go to the how to tab and then click search and type in amp install. it's really detailed and has pictures to go along with it.

speakers installed today.they sound 100 times better then stock.

You need a High Level To RCA Line Converter
It's a little thing that you splice into the wires of the rear speakers and it converts the signal to rca so you can hook it up to the rca inputs on your amp.

I used one made by Fusion on my 2003 XLTs 6 disk in dash changer and it worked perfectly.
