Heat should not have been used from what I was told as it weakens the metal a great deal, I would get a second opinion from a well known frame shop if the truck is safe and can be fixed bud.

if they messed it up complain. thats not safe now. your insurance might think it is but in cali if its not safe then its not done. my uncle almost got cheap junk yard rims for his jeep after it was stolen then he saw that law somewhere and had a wheel guy say its not safe. then he got new procomp ones. but this is a frame. complain until its fixed or they replace it with a new one. and i mean a new expo. if theres frame damage you pull it out not heat it. they dont know what to do. so tell your insurance see what they recommend then call a lawyer if they dont know then complain and if they dont do anything i would go to court.

Yeah, specs from ford allow some heat i heard. But insurance is dealing with the shop, which is a big name shop. Its fixable, but much harder now of days due to all the saftey regulations and stuff. Entire front fame section is tweaked clockwise. Friend at body shop convinced incurane to not total it. Accident was 4 hrs north, would have beed better to drive it home all out of alignment probably. haha I'll keep ya'll updated. Thanks

i would have totalled the truck out, then bought it back from the insurance company for dirt cheap...just my opinion. bent frames can get expensive to fix.

Well they would give me nothing for it. Idk how much costs to buy it back would be. And i'd rather keep a clean title. Idk, i plan on doing a 3' lift and 33's on it. Thats what im looking foward too! haha

if the heated the frame the need to be slapped silly or strait which ever the case!!!
a good frame shop with a jig isn't cheap but they won't ruin the strength of the frame by heating it... complain and see what they do probly won't do anything thou

sounds like you are in a bind then because your title may not say salvaged but if you were to ever sell it, as soon as you tell them it had any kind of frame damage, sale is over....it wont be cheap to have the frame straightened PROPERLY but at least it will be done right and will be strong.
