noticed a bit more slop in the steering a few days ago.
Upon startup from cold and dark, there is a faintly audible "Tok" sound accompanied by tactile feedback which suggests something is loose in the steering components.
This is experienced when one turns steering wheel left or right from center by my estimate 15 degrees. It then disappears after 20 mins of operation or so.
I am suspecting the steering shaft is starting to go but since steering is a complicated linkage system i'd like to ask around for ideas before buying parts.
Alignment is fine, truck tracks straight and true as long as roads are level.
