So on way home yesterday with limited max with b&o I turned up the radio and it had decent midbass type sound. I was like hmm ok this one doesn't have a sub. Well we get home and the kids have all doors and back hatch open and turned up the radio and it was jamming. I look at my wife like where did this come from. Lol. Look in back sure enough it has a sub. Close up vehicle and you barely hear it. Is there a secret to get it to hit like it did with everything open.

i have a 19 Limited Stealth edition with the B&O system... I find if the cargo area is packed with stuff, the bass gets pretty muffled, but otherwise its fine. its not boom-box grade over-the top bass, its smooth and well integrated.

Mine sounds like a decent midbass but that's about it. Once the kids opened it all up it was way more than just mid sounding. It's not beating up the block or nothing but it sounded way better

It’s a ten, .75 appx volume before sub displacement. Claim is it its 6” depth so lots of options. Wouldn’t put in something with too much excursion though

Do note, the B&O system (like most all premium factory systems) is very equalized for the speakers its shipped with.

I definitely and it's equalized even lower to not blow anything. I'll prolly never mess with it as it's my wife's vehicle and she doesn't care about that. Lol

You don't need a new sub. It really kicks if you set your eq correctly.
Start with bass on 90 or 100%, mid at 50% and treble at 90 or 100%. Then if you have a surround setting, turn it on.
