After having my 1st Expedition crushed back on 8/30 from a rather oversized tree branch falling on it, I ended up getting another Expedition after all. I spent the past two months taking my time looking at anything full sized (Tahoe, Sequoia, etc.). I came across this 2019 with <20,500 miles on it and was like new in and out. Did a 24 hour test drive and put it on a lift in my shop. Still super clean. Service records yearly from Ford were spot on. I couldn't resist. I really liked the truck from my first short round. Plus after joining the Facebook groups for these other models, they don't really seem any better off than us for common problems (such as 10R80 and VCT's).

Plus my kids still maintained that compared to a Tahoe and new gen Sequoia that it still had the best back seat and third row for room and comfort. Feature wise, it ticked all the boxes for me. 202A Pkg, HD Tow, Driver Asst Pkg, second row bench. Only thing I miss (and some will find weird) is actually having cloth seats vs. "leather".

Already trying to hit most of the mods that I had done on my previous truck. First thing I did was replace the Seabright LED bulbs the previous owner installed with an extra set of GTR Ultra 2's that I had. Night & day difference. Ordering Morimoto's for the high and fog housings to replace the Seabright's in those well. Also had to rip out the vent shades the PO installed as well. Looked to be some off-brand that kept triggering the pinch protection and didn't seem well installed. I had AVS shades in my old truck and never had issues, and may replace with those again. Also did some Forscan mods last night to add/delete features such as the double honk, fogs as DRLs, IC dash numbers for temps, etc.

Hopefully I can get more than a year out of this this time around!

Very cool. congrats. we'll see what goes on with my tranny replacement, I may be eyeing the 25' GM with the 2nd gen duramax. Puts up some pretty impressive mileage numbers, its slower than the EcoBoost, but who knows.

I came across a very nice looking RST that had a Duramax in it and my wife not being a stranger for diesels was all for it. We went to go check it out, but as soon as we opened the door it instantly blew us over with the smell of cigarettes. This is a no-go especially for her and my kids with allergy and breathing issues they have. I might have been able to manage with some additional deep cleaning, but we all know it never totally goes away.

If I were here, you would know it !
Way to go, congrats on a cool, sweet find !

Oh no, Smokey Joe, go go go, way way far away from me.....

And yes, regardless of the type or number of deep cleans, that smell will NEVER, EVER go away completely.....

Unless of course, you rip out the entire interior, and I mean EVERYTHING down to the bare sheet metal....which also has to be cleaned before the new stuff is installed....

My family found this out the hard way after my dad passed away a few years ago....we all loved him dearly, but his habit, not so much.... we tried selling his caddy without & after a deep but surface-only cleaning, but nobody would even test drive it because of the stench, even though it was otherwise in excellent condition and with low mileage.....

We ended up selling it to a custom-mod shop, who stripped it down completely & turned it into a retro 70's-looking pimp mobile (it was a '96 deville), complete with a set of 24" boom-box woofers in the trunk, a 500W stereo with cassette & CD players, humper-bumper raised suspension, oversized rims & tires, fuzzy dice, and wooden trim with pink leather everywhere !
