Bad iac valve or something else?

So this morning after driving through a downpour I noticed a very loud deep hum coming from the air intake. It only happens at idle and after I drive for a while it seems to let up. Once I start the truck up again , however the loud hum comes back. Does this sound like a bad iac? It seems to be idling and driving normally. Everything is stock except the alternator which was replaced three weeks ago.

If it is the iac, would it hurt anything to drive it for another week? I'll be out of classes then and will have time to fix it.
