What is the best way to test what is discharging my battey. If I don't drive for a couple days the battery is too dead to start the Expy. How do I test what is drawing down the battery???

How old is the battery? You can check the voltage at the battery right before and after you turn it off after running it. Should be 14.5 volts or so while running and 12.5 after you shut it down. If it drops lower after shutdown you can pull either terminal and see if voltage comes up.

To confirm its not weak battery lift terminal after shutdown and reconnect before you attempt to start it in a few days. If it still dies you know you have bad battery. Don't know easy way to locate load other than pulling fuses one at a time with amprobe connected.

Hope you don't have the windshield leak issue!?

Hmmm. Thats interesting. This method is using the fuse as a resistor in the circuit to check for load. Generally speaking there is very little resistance in the fuse but when your measuring just millivolts across the fuse it should be effective to give you a reading if there is a load on that circuit. If there was truly zero resistance in the fuse this would not work.

Very cool!! lol.. I will remember this..

Basically you are measuring for voltage across the fuse in millivolts. If the circuit is on you will get a steady reading in millivolts. If circuit is off or open you get no reading. Simple enough.
